electronic.. everything!
Most modern vehicles use multiple computers in their electronics, from climate control systems, air bag, suspension leveling and even air bags. A single electrical problem could take down multiple systems. Checking the wires under the hood is fairly straight forward. If they look old, worn, feel brittle or are missing insulation, consider having them replaced.Batteries and alternators are commonly fail and should be check regularly. Warning lights will usually come on when the system is weakening. Corrosion on battery that isn't addressed can damage other systems as well as the battery.
